About Me
My name is Thomas Holbach, as you’ve probably already read in the URL of this page. I was born 20 years ago in Trier, a city which is close to Luxembourg, and moved to Münster in October 2006 to start studying political science, Anglistics and the Lithuanian language.
I changed my studies in 2007 due to my bad English, and continued them in Jena, where I’m now studying Communication Research and Political Science.
My actual plans are:
- to become a race driver
- to become a farmer
- to become the 2nd James Dean
- to become a captain of a big ship
- to become a photo-model
- to get an entry in the Guiness World Records Book for having eaten more cepelinai in half an hour than anyone before (first test runs have been made)
- to become a therapist for abused wild pigs
- to become a lightweight-boxer
- to become a professional diver
- to become director of a soprano male-voice choir

[...] In addition to this, I have another cool new plan for the near future in my list of dreams that have to be fulfilled. (People who don’t know Lithuania’s famous “Cepelinai“. It’s delicious and made of potatoes, meat, meat and yes… I think it’s typical for Lithuanian kitchens to add just a hint of meat to it.) [...]
Hi Thomas,
My name is Angela Smith and I think we are probably related. My great-grandfather was John Holbach who was born just outside of Lier in 1872, and immigrated to the United States with his family in the 1890s. I would love to chat with you more. Please email me.
