otitis media
I got the “acute ear” one month ago, because I was going home from the city on foot, and it was snowing for the very last time in Trier. Later, after I visited some doctors, I slipped up, flying by plane to Bratislava with my parents, which was just the biggest mistake that was possible. The pressure difference both ears unusable. In Vienna I went to the local hospital and they were even afraid, that something really bad (smth with planes and pressure… didn’t understand everything) happened to my ears, and not only a otitis media. But everything was fine: “Just a usual otitis media.”
Well, this “usual otitis media” eliminated my holidays in Vienna and Bratislava, and I spent most of the time sleeping on my sister’s couch. The doctor told me not to go back by plane, which meant that I had to pay 140 Euros for a train to Trier, and to go 12h with it. Although I don’t like going by train at all, the trip was quite relaxed and the time passed quickly.
The medicine the doctors gave me didn’t help, though I virtuously stayed at home, spent the whole day in my bed and took a lot of vitamines. I had to go again to a doctor in Frankfurt and he gave me antibiotics. And they helped though i didn’t virtuously stay at home.
